Well known popular Stroud band Thee Ones team up with new Stroud band Kingsonik for an evening of foot stomping musical entertainment this Friday at The SVA.
Nick Buckle, Thee Ones singer and guitarist continues to push the bands sound in exciting directions with a recent brass addition adding to the vibrant swing in their eclectic soul/garage/rock ‘n’ roll arsenal.
Kingosnik were formed when former Superjuice frontman (and Elvis tribute artist) Joe Reeve was looking to form a band as he missed the comradery of playing live with other people. The result is Kingsonik, a covers band with a twist. The twist being they play songs that although rarely covered, you know and maybe have forgotten. The result - an eclectic mix of great tunes from Roy Orbison to The Vapors.
